David Ogilvy
Mockingbird is the second album from Scottish-American singer songwriter, David Ogilvy, recorded and written at his West London studio’s. (Incredibly, between eight separate throat operations) – though not life threatening, Ogilvy mentions, “that the amount of times the project went on hold – could have something to do with the deep intensity of the finished product.” Taking up from where he left off with his acclaimed debut album – Like It Is – David Ogilvy now delivers the stunning follow – up, Mockingbird.

You’re just cut off,” remarks the West London based musician.
Under the pretext of mastering the pedal steel guitar, David threw caution to the wind and embarked on a life-threatening series of Scottish line dancing gigs. “I played working men’s clubs in Falkirk with 150 people dancing exactly the same step – and if I didn’t play an exact version of the crowd’s favourite Shania Twain track they would start throwing stuff.” Remembers David. After 20 or so gigs and several near death experiences, David decided he had learnt enough and returned to London to commit his findings to tape – and what findings...
